Description

Each year the Chamber hosts events to celebrate National Small Business Week. This year, we partnered with our chamber lead coalition, COBOL, to gather black professional organizations so their members can get to know each other, do business together, and support each other. Register TODAY. At this time, the Chamber is happy to partner with the following organizations: 1. TJ Reddick Bar Association - Formed on November 12, 1982, to address the lack of equal access into law firms as attorneys or partners, court appointments in civil or criminal cases, appointments to judgeships, or respect as attorneys in Broward County, Florida. Today, the Association has broadened its purpose and is dedicated to promoting the professional excellence of Black lawyers in Broward County, increasing the enrollment of minority students in college and law school, and promoting the general welfare of all citizens in Broward County. 2. NFBPA - The National Forum of Black Public Administrators is a national organization and the local Chapter was founded in 1983. The professional membership organization is dedicated to the advancement of Black leadership in the public sector and has grown to include managers and executives in virtually all disciplines represented in state and local governments. 3. National Association of Black MBAs South Florida Chapter - The NABMBAs is a national organization with an active South Florida Chapter whose mission is to enhance the professional growth, competence and effectiveness of their members. They host educational, social, and community events. MORE organizations to come!
