Teren Carswell, the brains behind TGS Signature BBQ Sauce, is a public servant, a veteran, and a seasoned entrepreneur with a passion for barbecue. In 2019, Teren was called to duty. During his deployment, the world was ravaged by the COVID-19 Pandemic. Teren was not exempt from the devastation. After being honorably discharged duty, Teren returned home and found transitioning back to the "civilian" world challenging. While trying to transition, Teren lost several friends and family members in a short span of time due to Covid-19 related issues.

One of his key supporters was his grandmother, Mrs. Hattie Mae Crawford. Overwhelmed with grief while trying to cope with anxiety and depression, he had to delve deep within to find his passion. That passion was creating flavorful and unforgettable BBQ sauces for friends and family to enjoy. Thus, in April 2021, TGS Signature BBQ Sauce, LLC was established.

From day one, Teren has been leveraging his savvy business insight and dedication to authenticity. Teren has successfully positioned his product in the competitive landscape of the food condiment industry.
