Chamber President Honored with Partnership Builder Award

Broward County Black Chamber of Commerce President Shaheewa Jarrett Gelin, Esq. Honored with Partnership Builder Award

Fort Lauderdale, FL — May 23, 2026 — The Broward County Black Chamber of Commerce proudly announces that its President, Shaheewa Jarrett Gelin, Esq., was recognized by the Broward County Public Schools Economic Development Office as a valued community and business partner during a special recognition ceremony held on Thursday, May 21, 2026.

Gelin was presented with the Partnership Builder Award in acknowledgment of her outstanding leadership, dedication to economic empowerment, and continued commitment to building meaningful partnerships that strengthen opportunities for students, businesses, and the broader Broward County community.

“This recognition reflects the importance of collaboration between education, business, and community leadership,” said Jarrett Gelin. “I am honored to receive this award and proud of the work we continue to do through the Broward County Black Chamber of Commerce to create lasting impact throughout Broward County.”
