Chamber to Host Election Town Hall & Meet Your Black Elected Officials on July 9
Broward County, FL – July 9, 2026 – The Broward County Black Chamber invites residents, business leaders, community advocates, and voters to attend the Election Town Hall & Meet Your Black Elected Officials on July 9, 2026 at 6pm, a community-focused event designed to educate, inform, and engage Broward County residents on important election, policy, and governmental issues impacting the community. The event will provide attendees with a unique opportunity to meet and interact directly with Black elected officials from across Broward County while learning about the voting process, current legislative issues, and the priorities shaping local and state government.
“The purpose of this event is to ensure our community is informed, engaged, and connected to the leaders who represent them,” said Shaheewa Jarrett Gelin, Esq, Chamber President. “We want residents to understand not only how and when to vote, but also the work being done by elected officials on issues that affect our businesses, neighborhoods, and quality of life.”
